Jaffar and Voodoochild at Bedroom Club

In its anniversary Season #20, Bedroom is betting on a stripped-back concept – the focus falls entirely on the music and the experience. That is why the club’s new location hosts artists from the world’s stages and festivals every week, and their selection reinforces Bedroom’s status as “Club of the Year”.

On Saturday, 26 September, Voodoochild from Greece takes over the decks. His real name is Sofoklis Petridis. What makes him different is that he is not simply a DJ mixing other people’s tracks, but a complete musician and composer. When an artist creates music from scratch, he senses the crowd differently and is able to adapt his set in real time. Instead of following playlists prepared in advance, he reads the energy of the dance floor intuitively and turns it into music. The result is a set that relies not on random hits but on precisely built dynamics – exactly what a Saturday night calls for.

A day earlier, on 25 September, the club welcomed Jaffar. As an artist who knows the Bedroom crowd and standards inside out, he had complete freedom behind the decks that night. In his sets he most often weaves together styles such as Tech House, Afro House and Deep House. His selection stands out with dense bass lines and vocals that keep the dance floor in constant motion.

Bedroom Club has long been more than a destination – it is a cultural phenomenon in the city’s nightlife, one that exists beyond frames, stereotypes and expectations, and it remains a community and a place where music brings people together again and again.
